Human Resources Director

Marianne McIntosh

Marianne McIntosh joined MIRACORP in December 2023 as our new HR Director, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a proven track record in human resources management. With a dynamic and strategic approach, Marianne has successfully supported C-suite executives and cultivated value-driven partnerships across North America, the United Kingdom, Scotland, and Argentina.

She is known for her expertise in shaping departments, empowering teams, and optimizing processes to create win-win scenarios. Marianne’s leadership has led to over 100 promotions, the establishment of 13 new division teams, and significant cost savings across various departments.

Marianne also brings exceptional public speaking skills and a strong focus on employee engagement and organizational development. Her contributions in managing large corporate facilities and enhancing the overall employee lifecycle experience make her a valuable asset to our team.

Outside of work, Marianne is an active family person who enjoys spending time with her loved ones. She loves the sun and water, often found by the pool, playing with her dogs, and creating cherished memories with her daughter and nieces.

President & CEO

Heather Broughton

Heather Broughton, PMP has the privilege of serving as President & CEO of MIRACORP, bringing a wealth of expertise to her new role. With a strong focus on maintaining the organization’s reputation and fostering growth, Heather is widely recognized as a trusted expert in navigating the intricacies of federal government contracts and acquisitions. MIRACORP, established in 1999, is a leading provider of quality professional services to the federal government in the areas of procurement, project management, technical, facilities, and administrative support.

Heather’s journey with MIRACORP began ten years ago as a pricing analyst following her completion of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University. Over the years, she has assumed various roles within the organization, showcasing her versatility and dedication, and experiencing significant professional growth along the way. Heather’s proactive approach to problem-solving and her ability to identify new opportunities have earned her the affectionate title of ‘Business Development Goddess’ among her colleagues.

Based in the Washington D.C. metro area, Heather continues to lead MIRACORP with a strategic vision, fostering growth, maintaining key relationships within the industry, and championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives in the workforce. Additionally, she is committed to supporting small businesses on their journey. Her leadership, combined with her expertise and personal values, positions MIRACORP for continued success in the ever-evolving landscape of federal procurement.

Beyond her professional achievements, Heather finds fulfillment in her joyfully chaotic household; parenting two young children alongside her husband, Patrick, and a bundle of pets. Balancing her career with motherhood, Heather exemplifies resilience and determination, both in the boardroom and at home.

Director of Program Management

Raúl Monreal III

Raúl received a Computer Science degree from the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU) and served as the President of Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) during his college career. He was recognized nationally as the most outstanding member and student chapter President.  Raúl has over 30 years career experience with General Dynamics Mission Systems (formerly Motorola) as an engineering and business leader responsible for Critical Business Infrastructure and Integration serving the Space & Intelligence Systems $1.2 billion portfolio.  He has earned distinguished recognitions for his career work as well as his passionate involvement in the mentorship of Hispanic engineering students and organizations.   He served on the General Dynamics Diversity & Inclusion committee and founded SOMOS, the first Hispanic Employee Resource Group with membership worldwide.  

Currently, Raúl serves as a corporate member of MIRACORP, Inc as the Director of Program Management. At this capacity, he executes a pivotal role in guiding the organization towards achieving its strategic objectives through effective program execution and team leadership with key responsibilities that include Strategic Planning and Alignment, Program Oversight and Delivery, and Team Leadership and Development.

Chief Finance & Operations Officer

Susan Dater, CPA

Susan Dater, CPA, brings over 26 years of extensive experience to MIRACORP, having joined the company in September 2017 following a distinguished 20-year tenure at an aerospace engineering firm. Serving as both the Chief Financial Officer and Operations Officer, Susan plays a pivotal role in ensuring that MIRACORP upholds the highest standards of ethics, operational integrity, and financial stability.

In her dual capacity, Susan oversees all financial and operational aspects of the company, ensuring that every facet of its activities adheres to rigorous ethical standards and operational best practices. She is entrusted with managing accounting transactions, fostering corporate governance, and overseeing internal and external reporting procedures. Additionally, Susan is instrumental in the development and maintenance of robust internal controls, procedures, and processes that underpin the finance and accounting functions of the organization.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the prestigious W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, leveraging her academic background to drive excellence in financial management and strategic decision-making at MIRACORP.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Susan finds joy in hiking, traveling, and cherishing moments with her loved ones.

Cynthia Miracle

Cynthia Miracle’s journey from Army veteran to esteemed entrepreneur and philanthropist is a testament of resilience and vision. In 1998, Cynthia founded MIRACORP, driven by a desire to strike a balance between her professional ambitions and her role as a parent. Since then, under her exceptional leadership, MIRACORP has flourished into a beacon of integrity and ethical business practices.
